Overview

PridePath is an AI-powered study companion built for the LionHacks hackathon. It lets students upload their course materials and instantly generates an interactive, gamified quiz experience — complete with progress tracking, achievements, and a built-in wellness coach. The goal was to make studying feel less like cramming and more like playing.

Highlights

PridePath transforms studying into an interactive experience by letting students upload their course materials and instantly generating a structured curriculum with 12–24 multiple-choice checkpoints powered by Mistral AI. Students can choose from three game modes — Speed for timed, high-pressure rounds, Zen for a relaxed self-paced session, or Story for a chapter-based narrative progression. Progress is tracked through streaks, accuracy stats, and 10 unlockable achievements like Perfect Round and The Completionist. The app also includes a wellness layer with Roomie, an in-app coach that offers stress support, mid-session breathing exercises, and nudges when a student has been studying too long or is on a wrong-answer streak.
